Provincial Medical Laser Association holds congress for 2022-2027 tenure

Early November 16, provincial Medical Laser Association held its 5th congress for the 2022-2027 tenure.

In the 2015-2020 tenure, provincial Medical Laser Association had 253 members in and out of the province participating in activities, attracting more than 522,000 patients under laser therapy. In addition, the association collaborated with relevant units to research a topic on  "Evaluating the effectiveness of  laser acupuncture-laser therapy with 12-channel semiconductor low-power laser and intravenous laser in the treatment of movement rehabilitation after cerebral infarction" at provincial General Hospital. This topic has been transferred to the district level to apply treatment to patients. Along with that, the association developed a topic on "Surveying the operational status of laser equipment and the current status of low-power semiconductor laser application at medical facilities in the province". The topic was approved by provincial People's Committee, assigned to the Department of Health to preside over, coordinate with agencies to review and report on the current status of laser equipment operation and low-power laser application at medical facilities in the province.

The congress elected the Executive Board of the Association for the 2022-2026 tenure, including 21 members. Herbalist Tran Dinh Hop continued to be elected as President of the Association for the new term.

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in association work in the period of 2015-2020. Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations awarded the certificates of merit to 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in association work.
