Provincial Party Committee announces resolutions and decisions on apparatus arrangement and personnel work

On the afternoon of February 26, Binh Duong Provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to announce resolutions and decisions on organizational structure and personnel work. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, chaired the conference.

At the conference, Mr. Huynh Van Dan, Deputy Head of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Organization Board, announced decisions of Provincial People's Committee on allowing civil servants and public employees to retire early to receive social insurance from March 1, 2025 according to Decree No. 178 of the Government for the following comrades: Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Council of Thu Dau Mot University; Nguyen Minh Chau, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology; Nguyen Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Industry and Trade; Ha Minh Trung, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Announcing the decision of Provincial Party Standing Committee to accept Mr. Vo Hoang Ngan, Director of Provincial Department of Construction, to work at Provincial Party Organization Board, appointing him to the position of Deputy Head of Provincial Party Organization Board; accepting Mr. Ngo Quang Su, Director of Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, to work at Provincial Party Organization Board, appointing him to the position of Deputy Head of Provincial Party Organization Board from March 1, 2025.

Announcing the decision of the Provincial People's Committee to recognize Mr. Le Tuan Anh, Director of Provincial Department of Information and Communications, to hold the position of Chairman of the Council of Thu Dau Mot University from March 1, 2025.

Announcing the decision of the Central Presidium of Vietnam Women's Union to recognize the election results of Ms. Nguyen Thanh Loan, former member of Provincial Party Inspection Committee, former Chief of Office of Provincial Party Inspection Committee, to hold the position of Vice President of Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union.

Next, Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice President of Provincial People's Council, announced Resolutions of Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized departments under Provincial People's Committee and the decision of Provincial People's Committee on the appointment of leaders of specialized agencies under Provincial People's Committee after the merger.

Accordingly, the 21st session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026 passed resolutions on: establishing Provincial Department of Finance by merging Provincial Department of Planning and Investment and Provincial Department of Finance; Provincial Department of Construction by of merging Department of Transport and Department of Construction; Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment by merging Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Provincial Department of Science and Technology by merging Department of Information and Communications and Department of Science and Technology; Provincial Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and Department of Home Affairs; Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of reorganizing Religious Affairs Committee under Provincial Department of Home Affairs and receiving functions and tasks of state management of ethnic minorities from the Office of Provincial People's Committee.

Announcing the resolution confirming the dismissal from the position of Provincial People's Committee member for the 2021-2026 term for the following comrades: Le Tuan Anh, Ngo Quang Su and Vo Hoang Ngan, due to transfer to other positions.

Deputy Head of Provincial Party Organization Board announced the decision to appoint Board of Directors of Provincial Department of Home Affairs. Accordingly, Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong holds the position of Director of Provincial Department of Home Affairs from March 1, 2025 until the retirement age according to regulations. Appoint Ly Van Dep, Pham Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Ngoc Hang, and Pham Van Tuyen to hold the position of Deputy Directors of the Department of Home Affairs. Term of appointment is 5 years from 1-3-2025.

Next, Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong, Director of Provincial Department of Home Affairs, announced the decision of the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee to appoint Nguyen Thanh Toan to hold the position of Director of Provincial Department of Finance from March 1, 2025 until the retirement age according to regulations. Appointing Lai Xuan Dat, Le Thanh Toan, Nguyen Thanh An, Trinh Hoang Tuan Anh, Ngo Hoang Minh, Le Thi Thanh Thuy to hold the position of Deputy Directors of Provincial Department of Finance, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025. Appoint Pham Van Bong to hold the position of Director of Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment from March 1, 2025 until reaching retirement age according to regulations.

Appoint Ho Truc Thanh, Vo Thanh Giau, Le Thanh Tam, Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Pham Xuan Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy to hold the position of Deputy Directors of Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025. Appoint Nguyen Anh Minh to hold the position of Director of Provincial Department of Construction, appointment period of 5 years from March 1, 2025.

Appoint Bo Ky Thuat, Nguyen Huu Tuan, Huynh Pham Tuan Anh, Nguyen Chi Hieu, Nguyen Thanh Thuan, Nguyen Vinh Toan, Tran Si Nam to hold the position of Deputy Directors of Provincial Department of Construction, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025.

Appoint Nguyen Viet Long to hold the position of Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025. Receive Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice President of Provincial Labor Federation, to work at Provincial Department of Science and Technology, holding the position of Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025; appoint Nguyen Huu Yen and Tran Trong Tuyen, to hold the position of Deputy Directors of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025.

Appoint Trinh Duc Tai to hold the position of Director of Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025. Received Mr. Thai Tran Quoc Bao, an official of Provincial Party Organization Board, former Deputy Secretary of Provincial Business Bloc’s Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Khanh Toan, an official of Provincial Party Organization Board, former Deputy Secretary of Provincial Business Bloc’s Party Committee, to work at Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department. Term of appointment is 5 years from 1-3-2025.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi respectfully acknowledged and commended the leaders and officials who voluntarily retired early to create conditions for organizational restructuring. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that comrades will continue to accompany and contribute ideas to the development of the province in the coming time.

With newly established and merged units, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the huge workload requires a higher sense of responsibility. He requested that newly established and merged agencies and units, newly appointed and assigned cadres continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, daring to think, knowing how to do, striving to overcome all difficulties, quickly stabilize to achieve the highest results in implementing assigned tasks and work.

In addition, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized on implementing Conclusion No. 126, dated February 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on some issues and tasks to continue to arrange and streamline the organization of the political system in 2025; focus on preparing for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring the achievement of the double-digit growth target in 2025; proactively implement the provincial planning, immediately build a list of projects, determine the implementation roadmap for each year, proactively prepare procedures and resources in advance to implement according to the set roadmap.
