Provincial Party Committee organizes online conference with Artemisa province (Cuba)

On January 24, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee organized a video conference with Artemisa province (Cuba).

At Binh Duong province’s endpoint, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, chaired the conference; Ariadne Feo Labrda, Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, also attended the conference. In Artemisa province, Ricardo Concepcion Rodriguez, Governor of Artemisa province, attended the video conference.

At the meeting, Thao emphasized the stable economic development of Binh Duong province amidst many unpredictable changes in the world, affecting the global economy; also announced the online meeting schedule between the two sides, which will be held once every 2 months. Within 1 year, the two sides will have delegations visit, exchange and work together.

Thao said that in medical sector, Binh Duong discussed and agreed to provide information as soon as possible to Artemisa province to enhance the comprehensive development of the healthcare system in Binh Duong based on the experience of Cuba. Binh Duong also wants to cooperate with Artemisa province on rubber tree growing. Accordingly, Vietnamese experts will work with Cuban experts to evaluate the feasibility of growing and exploiting rubber in Artemisa province.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Thao wished Ricardo and the delegates full of joy and happiness; wished the two provinces of Binh Duong and Artemisa successful cooperation, contributing to further tightening the friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries Vietnam - Cuba in general, and the two provinces of Binh Duong - Artemisa in particular.
