Provincial People’s Committee mulls over measures of building some traffic works

At the working session, tunnel and bridge design and consultancy company presented some measures of fighting and decreasing traffic congestion on the national highway No.13 from Hoa Lan intersection to Ong Bo Bridge. Also at the session, the provincial People’s Committee leaders heard about 3 measures of adjusting Thoi An Bridge project.

Addressing the session, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that the mentioned measures are suitable to reality. However, till 2020 Binh Duong will become the central-run city and this will increase urbanization and traffic participation and population, so design units should mull over optimal and long-term projects to control traffic congestion effectively, creating a perfect traffic system for the locality.

Initially, the traffic sector should build lighting system at T-junctions and intersections in a bid to minimize congestion of traffic at the mentioned areas.
