On the evening of December 18, provincial People's Committee held a get-together for representatives of foreign diplomatic corps and organisations in 2025. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; members of provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of departments and sectors of the province, consuls general of countries in Ho Chi Minh city; a high-ranking delegation of Yamaguchi prefecture in Japan.

At the get-together, Mr. Minh highlighted Binh Duong’s achievements in 2024 despite facing challenges and difficulties. The province's economy continued showing progress, achieving comprehensive and positive results in aspects. The province’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 7.48%. The province’s GRDP per capita reached VND 181 million. The province’s total export-import turnover amounted to US$ 60 billion, with a trade surplus of US$ 10 billion. The province’s FDI attraction was over US$ 2.2 billion…

Mr. Minh affirmed that one of the key factors contributing to Binh Duong's significant achievements in foreign relations and its development over the past 28 years is the close cooperation and enthusiastic support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad, consulates general, trade offices, associations and domestic and international businesses in promoting the province, providing information and introducing Binh Duong as a friendly, dynamic and innovative locality in the development process.
