Provincial People's Council approves policy on establishing 2 wards of An Dien, An Tay and Ben Cat city

On November 23, 2023, provincial People's Council issued the Resolution No. 43/NQ-HDND approving the policy of establishing An Dien ward, An Tay ward in Ben Cat town.

The resolution clearly states and endorses the policy of establishing An Dien ward, An Tay ward in Ben Cat town and Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province. Specifically, establishing An Dien and An Tay wards is on the basis of converting the original area, administrative boundaries, and population of An Dien and An Tay communes in Ben Cat town. Establishing Ben Cat city is on the basic of converting the original area, administrative boundaries, and population of Ben Cat town. After being established, Ben Cat city has 8 commune-level administrative units, including 7 wards of Chanh Phu Hoa, Hoa Loi, My Phuoc, Tan Dinh, Thoi Hoa, An Dien, An Tay and Phu An commune.

The Resolution came into effect from the date of signing (November 23, 2023).
