Provincial People's Council supervise implementation results of PAPI in localities

On April 13, at Phu Giao District People's Committee, a Provincial People's Council’s delegation led by Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Head of Legal Board of the Provincial People's Council, inspected the situation and implementation results of PAPI (Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index) of Phu Giao and Ben Cat districts.

The delegation surveyed three index of: "People's involvement in the grassroots level"; "Accountability to the people", settlement of complaints and denunciations of people, access to judicial services...; "Environmental management", environmental protection, air quality, water quality... in neighborhoods of Thoi Hoa ward (Ben Cat) and hamlets in Phuoc Sang commune (Phu Giáo district).

According to assessment of the delegation, these localities promulgated regulations on receiving citizens, arranged spacious and comfortable citizen reception areas, assigned officials to receive citizens, salary payment for grassroots citizen-reception officials was done according to Resolution No. 12/2017/NQ-HDND of the province. Law dissemination was carried out well. The complaint settlement and conciliation at the grassroots gained good results, there was no hot spot in the area. The organization of meetings with the people was carried out in accordance with regulations...
