The event held by Binh Duong provincial People's Committee on September 26 to announce provincial planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050, attracted significant attention from various sectors, experts and the business community. Provincial planning outlines a new vision, affirming Binh Duong's new nature, role and position. In the face of the developmental demands, the new period presents many challenges, requiring Binh Duong to undergo fundamental transformations to ensure rapid and sustainable growth. In the coming time, Binh Duong must focus on leadership and direction to effectively implement the provincial planning, resolving growth bottlenecks and attracting resources, thereby maximizing the province's socio-economic development potential.

Binh Duong needs to harmoniously and flexibly combine economic growth with social development to ensure sustainable economic development. This will enable Binh Duong's smart city model, Innovation Region and sustainable industrial-urban-service development to flourish. This transformation meets urban modernization needs and enhances people' quality of life.

*Tran Sy Nam, Vice Chairman of Thu Dau Mot city’s People's Committee: The event marking the announcement of the provincial planning is of special significance for the development of both Binh Duong and Thu Dau Mot city. This serves as a foundation and an opportunity for the city to make a breakthrough and transform its urban appearance. It provides conditions for the city to implement the local plans. Notably, Thu Dau Mot is designated as the innovation region's nucleus in the provincial planning.
