Provincial Poor Children's Support Fund awards 100 scholarships to poor students

On the morning of April 14, the Provincial Poor Children's Support Fund organized the awarding of 100 scholarships worth 439 million VND funded by project "Developing education for students having difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province period 2023-2028" (referred to as the project) for students having difficult circumstances in Dau Tieng district.

Leaders of Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Provincial Department of Education and Training award scholarships to elementary school students.

Accordingly, the Provincial Poor Children's Fund awarded 50 elementary school scholarships (each 3.5 million VND), 30 junior high school scholarships (each 5 million VND) and 20 high school scholarships (each 5.7 million VND). Besides awarding scholarships, the project also provides other support for students, such as: glasses, bicycles, pocket computers, medical examination and treatment costs...

Leaders of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said the project was funded by non-governmental organization Saigon Children's Charity to help 100 students having difficult circumstances in the province for 5 years. The province's branches selected 100 students living in hardship in Thanh An commune and Dau Tieng town of Dau Tieng district to award the above scholarships.
