Provincial Red Cross Society pays gift visit to poor ethnic people in Ninh Thuan

A delegation from provincial Red Cross Society and its Volunteers’Club, on May 12 and 13, visited and presented gifts to poor ethnic people in Thuan An district’s Phuoc Ha commune in the south central province of Ninh Thuan.

At the visiting place, the delegation donated 200 gifts worth VND300,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, seasoning powder, salt, soya source…, to poor ethnic people. These gifts were funded by superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong, Head of Chau Thoi pagoda, Buddhist followers of the pagoda in Di An town and donors from the Volunteers’Club under provincial Red Cross Society.

This is the 2nd charity program of provincial Red Cross Society for the poor, the disabled and Agent Orange victims in the remote and poor communes of Ninh Thuan province with a total expense of VND150mln in 2013.
