Provincial summer youth volunteer campaign 2020 launched

Early June 16, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee held a ceremony to launch the summer youth volunteer campaign 2020 under the theme of “Youths in Binh Duong are creative, voluntary for the community” at the People’s Committee of Phuoc Hoa commune in Phu Giao district, with the participation of more than 200 Youth Union members, pupils and students.

At the ceremony, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee established a steering board for the summer youth volunteer campaign 2020 and 10 youth volunteer squads; upgraded a rural road of 1 km; handed over 5 health insurance cards to the offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances; awarded scholarships to 2 needy pupils; offered an recreational area from recycled materials to minority ethnic children; gave “dream” rooms for poor young workers; worked with units to organize a program guiding how to drive safely for Youth Union members; provided free medical check-up, medicine for 100 people; visited and provided medical examination for 6 heroic Vietnamese mothers in the district.

On this occasion, provincial Young Pioneer Organization offered a “red tie” house to a needy child in Phu Giao district’s An Thai commune. Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company donated a hands-washing machine to provincial Support Center for Young Workers. Phu Giao district’s Youth Union offered 4 propaganda boards of the Resolution of the National Youth Federation Congress for the 2019-2024 tenure to 4 communal Youth Unions.
