Provincial Tax Department holds dialogue meeting with Taiwanese businesses

On September 21, at Taiwan (China) Businesses Association in Binh Duong province, Nguyen Van Cong, Director of Provincial Tax Department chaired a tax policy dialogue meeting with representatives of nearly 100 Taiwanese enterprises. 

At the dialogue, Taiwanese businesses were informed by provincial tax officials about new tax policies effective from 1st January 2022, such as Decree No. 15/2022 of the Government regulating tax exemptions, tax reductions; Decree No. 41/2022 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 123/2020 of the Government on invoices and documents; Decree No. 34/2022 of the Government on extending the deadline for payment of value-added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax, and land rent in 2022.

Representatives of Taiwanese enterprises raised questions to the Provincial Tax Department; voiced opinions about problems related to land tax, corporate income tax, value added tax, and personal income tax; policy on invoices and vouchers; preferential conditions for tax exemption and reduction, information technology applications...

The opinions of Taiwanese businesses were fully and thoroughly answered by representatives of Provincial Tax Department at the meeting. For recommendations and proposals from Taiwanese enterprises that are beyond the authority of the tax authorities, Provincial Tax Department summarized and reported these to the competent authorities for assessment and settlement.
