In recent days, leaders of provincial Labor Union have directly visited localitities severely affected by recent storms and floods to provide aid to the local residents, trade unionists and workers. Meanwhile, at many grassroots trade unions in Binh Duong, trade unionists, members and workers continue making contributions to those affected by the last natural disasters.

A representative from provincial Labor Union stated that provincial trade unions at all levels have raised nearly VND 53 billion to support those affected by storms and floods in the northern region. Of these, nearly VND 30 billion was directly donated to all-level Fatherland Front Committees. Additionally, all-level trade unions, trade unionists, organizations and individuals donated over VND 23 billion to provincial Labor Union’s account. Provincial Labor Union transferred VND 13 billion in the first round to provincial Fatherland Front Committee and VND 3 billion to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The total amount of goods collected by all-level trade unions was about 100 tons. Provincial Labor Union sent about 22 tons to provincial Red Cross Society and delivered goods to Cao Bang and Yen Bai provinces to promptly support those affected by the last storms and floods.
Provincial Labor Union sincerely thanked units, organizations and individuals with contributions to localities hit by Yagi typhoon in the northern region while hoping to continue receiving further support in the coming days.
