On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2015), provincial Veterinary Department has just organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers, including mother Bui Thi Da, born in 1923, in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Phuoc Khanh ward and mother Truong Thi Mung, born in 1926, in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Hiep ward.

The delegation extended best regards to the two mothers and gave them VND4.5mln while wanting them to live joyfully and healthily and be bright examples for descendants to follow.

*Early April 28, provincial Red Cross Society held a ceremony to hand over “red cross” houses to two poor households of Thanh Thi Mai and Thach Nhut residing in An Binh commune’s Tan Thinh hamlet in Phu Giao district.

Each house is around 36 square meters with a total construction expense of VND50mln, funded by Vietcombank’s Binh Duong Branch, Buddhist followers of Phat Hoc pagoda and Thien Ton pagoda in TDM city.

At the ceremony, provincial Red Cross Society, the local government and donors also gave many significant gifts for the two households. This was one of practical activities helping needy households across the province to rise up.
