Provincial Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association focuses on well propagandizing external information

On the afternoon of November 4, provincial Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association held its 3rd congress for the 2022-2027 tenure, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice- Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s  Propaganda and Education Commission.

During the last tenure, provincial Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association actively participated in activities organized by the Central Association, provincial People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, Union of Friendship Organizations; actively mobilized members, organizations and enterprises in the province to effectively implement many programs on cultural exchange and people-to-people diplomacy, including joining provincial delegation to visit and work with leaders of Oryol province in Russia, meeting on the occasion of the Russian October Revolution; participating in seminars, conferences, people-to-people diplomacy activities. Besides, the association mobilized VND180 million from organizations, individuals to build houses for poor members; mobilized members to support people hit by natural disasters in the Central region…

In the 2022-2027 tenure, provincial Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association will focus on well implementing the province's external information communication; further strengthen relationship building with diplomatic delegations, Consulate General of Russia in Ho Chi Minh city; continue coordinating with functional units and sectors to advise the province on implementing  programs on friendship and people-to-people cooperation...

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Thao asked for provincial Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association to further uphold the friendship between the two countries and develop the relationship to a new height. He believed that provincial Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association will promote results done and have many activities to further strengthen the friendship and solidarity between the two countries in general and between Binh Dinh province and Russian localities in particular, especially the traditional relationship with Oryol province. Hopefully, the association's activities will contribute to attracting Russian enterprises making investment in the province in the coming time...

The congress elected 15 delegates to the Executive Board of the Association for the 2022-2027 tenure. Nguyen Minh Vu was elected as the new President of the association.
