Provincial Women’s Union achieves and exceeds planned targets after half term

Early May 31, provincial Women's Union organized a mid-term preliminary conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th provincial Women's Congress for the 2021-2026 term. The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission;  Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission.

During the past half term, provincial Women's Union always closely followed the Resolution of provincial Party Congress, the Resolution of the National Women's Congress and the Resolution of provincial Women's Congress to develop specific programs and plans. Based on the targets set by the congress resolution, the Executive Board of provincial Women's Union has divided annually to deploy and organize the implementation. As a result, 100% of the targets were met and exceeded the phased plan. According to the divergence, all 8 targets were met and exceeded. Some targets exceeded the plan of the whole term. For example, provincial Women’s Union supported 373 out of 50 startup ideas with a total amount of more than VND 21.3 billion or 746% of the plan. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thao hoped that in the coming time, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels will further improve skills, capacity and collective efficiency to create the strength of the great unit bloc; join hands to well implement the resolutions of the Party, provincial Party Committee and localities while promoting effective and practical models...

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee rewarded 3 collectives and 7 individuals. Provincial Women's Union rewarded 20 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in association work; awarded prizes to 6 collectives and 11 individuals with excellent works in the 2024 information technology application contest in organizing association activities.
