Provincial Women’s Union gets involved in protecting national sovereignty and security

Early November 21, Binh Duong provincial Women's Union and Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to sum up the 5-year implementation of the joint program between the two units for the period of 2018-2022 and sign a joint program for the period of 2023-2025 at the Border Station of Hoang Dieu border gate in Binh Phuoc province.

During the 2018-2022 period, the two units had close coordination, organizing over 5,500 propaganda sessions on the Party and State's guidelines, policies and laws, with more than 250,000 women’s association officials and members, thereby contributing to improving knowledge and awareness of observing the law, greatly contributing to completing the political tasks of each unit, contributing to building and firmly protecting the country’s territorial sovereignty and border security.

On this occasion, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 11 groups and 7 individuals. Provincial Women's Union rewarded 6 collectives of Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command. Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command also rewarded 12 collectives of Binh Duong provincial Women's Union for many outstanding achievements in carrying out their tasks, contributing to border protection in the period of 2018-2022.

At the conference, the two units signed a joint program on "Mobilizing women to participate in building and protecting sovereignty and security of sea, island and borders" for the period of 2023-2025. The Women's Union branches of Binh Duong province’s districts, towns, cities and 11 border guard stations, training - mobile battalions also signed a joint program for the period of 2023-2025.
