Over the past 5 years, the work of mobilizing women to practice food hygiene and safety, protect the environment, and cope with climate change has gradually raised awareness and changed behavior of members of provincial Women’s Union. Since then, many initiatives and models in response to the movements of preventing and combating plastic waste, protecting the environment, and implementing food hygiene and safety have been replicated increasingly.
Cadres and members of provincial Women’s Union have become active nucleus in mobilizing organizations and individuals to make environmental sanitation, food safety and cope with climate via practical programs on supporting women in economic development, girls to overcome difficulties…Provincial Women’s Union’s campaigns, namely "Say no to plastic bags", "Clean production, clean processing, clean consumption"... have also been responded by women across the province.
