Provincial Women's Union offers gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, mobilizes workers to stay

On the afternoon of October 6, provincial Women's Union coordinated with the following units: provincial Military Command, Kim Oanh Company, Thien Chi Hieu Company, Vietnam - Japan Association and volunteers from provincial Military Command to visit and offer gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and veteran cadres in 3 communes of An Dien, Phu An, An Tay in Ben Cat town while mobilizing immigrant workers to stay in the province to work.

Particularly, the delegation visited heroic Vietnamese mother Ung Thi Nung; offered gifts to policy beneficiary families, laborers with difficult circumstances at the headquarters of the People's Committees of the communes, visited and encouraged workers at lodging facilities, frontline anti-Covid-19 forces, etc.

In the visiting places, Truong Thanh Nga, Chairwoman of provincial Women's Union and members of the delegation visited, encouraged and offered gifts to policy beneficiary families and workers living away from home. The total number of gifts given included 6 tons of rice, 130 boxes of milk and thousands of gifts from enterprises.

*On the same day, provincial People's Court gave 350 gifts worth VND400,000, including milk, rice, vegetables and fruits, to disadvantaged people, due to Covid-19, in Di An city, Thuan An city and Ben Cat town under the local program to mobilize workers to stay. It is known that these gifts aimed to help immigrant workers further stay in the province to work.
