Provincial Young Engineers Association Congress for 2025-2030 tenure opens
On the morning of June 19, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Binh Duong Provincial Young Engineers Association convened its inaugural Congress for the 2025-2030 term at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The congress was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; leaders from various departments, branches, and sectors; as well as nearly 70 official delegates who are members of the Young Engineers Association.
The congress convened to summarize the process of mobilizing the establishment of the association, approve the charter, outline the direction of activities, and elect the inaugural Executive Committee. Consequently, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Director of the Office of Assistant to Becamex IDC Corporation, was nominated to assume the role of President of the association, with the Executive Committee comprising 27 members. During the internal session, the congress elected a Standing Committee consisting of 5 individuals, along with 5 Vice Presidents and 1 Head of the Inspection Committee.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee recognized 14 exemplary models and projects developed by young engineers and awarded the "Young Talent" prize to six individuals who distinguished themselves in their studies, research, and creative endeavors. Concurrently, the congress inaugurated the Binh Duong province's science and technology innovation initiative contest for 2025, themed "Smart City - Sustainable Development" (BDInnoTech), aimed at fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity among young engineers.
