Provincial youth proudly moving forward under the Party flag

While the nation is celebrating Party Congresses at all levels and the 12^th National Party Congress, young people of Binh Duong province has made every effort to make achievements through practical movements demonstrating youth spirit proudly moving forward under the Party flag. On occasion of the 84^th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union foundation day (03/26/1931 - 03/26/2015), Binh Duong Newspaper had an interview with provincial Youth Union’s Secretary Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang.

- In recent years, promoting the glorious tradition of previous generations, which were remarkable youth movements and activities launched by provincial Youth Union?

- In recent years, provincial Youth Union has carried out many programs to unite, cultivate, promote the youth’s role in solving social pressing issues in development process of the province. These programs were: “Raising youth’s awareness of laws”, "Helping poor young people in establishing themselves”, “Voluntary youngsters protecting safety traffic and the environment” and so on.

In addition, the development of funds, such as: Young talent fund, Migrant youth supporting fund, etc., and offices, like: Youth activities center, Youth workers supporting center, Youth counseling and assisting center, have promoted their role and effectiveness to satisfy legitimate rights and interests of young people.

Provincial Youth Union awarded winners of “Tens thousand of Binh Duong hearts turning towards national islands” contest.

Particularly, provincial Youth Union has implemented the project “Gathering the youth” in two phases 2007-2010 and 2011-2015 in order to aggregate youngsters, migrant young persons at lodging houses and private enterprises. Activities and movements of provincial Youth Union have been improved in terms of quality and quantity, creating good social effects, receiving support and consensus from the Party and the mass.

- Provincial youth have done what to celebrate the 84^th birthday of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union?

- Provincial Youth Union has organized exciting and meaningful activities in this March, such as: get-together of former Union cadres, Lighting Union cadres’ dreams, visiting and giving gifts to former Union cadres, Children's health day - Moving to the Youth Union, new rural, new urban construction programs, and so on. Especially, Vietnam youth festival, “Giving strength to the youth” festival, National Melody Gala, tour of revolutionary songs propagating group were activities of provincial youth to celebrate the Youth Union’s birthday.

- With the theme of “Binh Duong youth proudly moving forward under the Party flag”, which programs has provincial Youth Union had for this year?

- Provincial Youth Union has called upon Union members and youngsters to enhance patriotic movements, organized successfully “Binh Duong youth proudly moving forward under the Party flag” week. Patriotic emulation movements have been deployed from March 2015 to March 2016. 

The 1^st stage is from early March 2015 to April 30^th 2015 with the theme on “Binh Duong young citizens - Deserving Uncle Ho’s young generation”. The 2^nd stage is from May 1^st to Oct 31^st 2015 named “’Striving for achieving objectives, implementing tasks of socioeconomic development, defense – security to celebrate the 10^th provincial Party Congress”. The 3^rd stage is from Nov 1^st 2015 to March 26^th 2016 with the theme on "Binh Duong youth making achievements to the National Party Congress and the 85^th Youth Union anniversary”.

Through these three phases, provincial youth will strive for achieving main targets, such as: 100% Youth Union branches to launch emulation, youth projects welcoming Party Congresses, 100% members and youngsters to take part voluntarily in community-based activities; 100% members to contribute opinions to document drafts of Party Congresses, learn Party Resolutions; 100% Union branches to deploy studying and following Uncle Ho’s moral example, 100% branches to organize meetings “Remembering Uncle Ho”, 100% branches to perform well the week of “Binh Duong youth proudly moving forward under the Party flag”, admitting 15,000 new members, introducing 2,000 outstanding members for Party admission.
