Q1-2023 budget collection meets 25% of People’s Council designation

According to Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, the province's budget revenue in the first quarter of 2023 is estimated at VND 17,300 billion, reaching 23% of the estimate assigned by the provincial People's Council, which was 28% last time, equaling to 97% over the same period. In which, domestic revenue is VND 13,600 billion, reaching 29% of the estimate, and increasing by 11% over the same period; import and export tax revenue VND 3,700 billion, reaching 18% of the estimate, and equaling 68% over the same period.

The import and export tax collection is still low due to the setback situation of export and import. For key export products, the main export markets continued to reduce demand due to the influence of inflation, economic recession, and low consumer demand. In the coming time, the tax sector and related units have proposed solutions to organize the correct and sufficient collection to promptly and effectively exploit the remaining revenue sources, at the same time, strengthen the inspection and examination against loss of revenue and transfer pricing, to strictly manage and thoroughly save regular expenses.
