Rate of inter-banking e-payment increases

According to SBV Binh Duong, by the end of 2018, the whole province had 52 members participating in payment through 2 systems, including inter-bank e-payment (citad) and vouchers. In particular, citad system in the province had 7 participants. During the year, these systems carried out 169,874 transactions with a total value of nearly VND 124,668 billion, an increase of 52.62% compared to 2017.

In the last year, members ensured the ability to pay for their organization. Currently, the citad system has been operating for 10 years and is a stable and safe system, and no incidents have been recorded at SBV Binh Duong.

Inter-banking e-payment system plays the role of national backbone payment system. With the goal of modernizing the banking industry, SBV in general and SBV Binh Duongin particular will continue to increase investment in technology infrastructure, expand markets and modern services, quickly keep up with modern information technology of the world.
