Rate of valid tax declarations is nearly 99%

In September 2022, the Provincial Tax Department inspected 714 dossiers, of which 692 dossiers were accepted, reaching 96.92% of the total number of examined dossiers. The number of dossiers requiring adjustments was 22 dossiers, tax increase after the adjustments was over VND 3,360 billion.

Over nine months of 2022, the tax authority examined 15,770 dossiers, of which 15,610 were accepted, reaching 98.98% of the total number of examined dossiers. The number of dossiers requiring adjustments was 79 records, tax increase after adjustments was over 4.1 billion VND, the number of dossiers requiring inspection at the taxpayer's office was 81.

According to the Provincial Tax Department, the proportion of tax dossiers that were accepted for inspection at the taxpayer’s office has gradually increased in recent years. This proves that the law compliance of businesses and taxpayers in the province is increasing. Thereby contributing to the increasing revenue from the tax inspection at the agency.
