Recreational activities for children during summer vacation

Hieu Liem commune’s Steering Board of Teenagers and Children’s Activities in North Tan Uyen district, on July 14, held a ceremony to open the summer vacation and “Festival for children” 2020.

At the event, leaders of the commune called on the entire society to join hands in supporting, organizing a useful, significant and safety summer vacation for pupils. The commune’s Youth Union also set up a youth volunteer squad that is responsible for organizing recreational activities for children during the summer vacation.

On this occasion, the Steering Board awarded 20 scholarships worth VND300,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils; offered 200 gifts, including confectionary, to the local pupils.
