Update: 03-02-2021 | 11:59:40

On January 27th, Tien Phong Newspaper, National Traffic Safety Committee, National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in collaboration with Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Red Cross, and Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) organized the 13th Red Sunday blood donation program 2021 in Binh Duong.

According to the organizers, the Red Sunday blood donation program has become a humane event on a national scale. The amount of blood received from this program has helped to overcome the scarcity of blood during Lunar New Year. This year's program received the attention of ministries, departments and branches, especially the involvement of 43 provinces and cities across the country, including Binh Duong province. It is expected that, with 80 blood donation locations, this year's program would receive more than 50,000 units of blood.

This was the second time the program was held in Binh Duong province. With the message "Donating blood to save lives - Your life and my life", the program attracted a large number of participants, including Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha, 1st runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, and Miss Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong. At the end, after screening and health advice for participants, the organizers received 288 blood units.
