Regulations on charges and payments of and management of charges and payments of environment impact report fees

Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee just issued Decision No. 62/2014/QD-UBND, effective from and on January 01, 2015, to stipulate on payers who are investors to projects in Binh Duong Province subject to reporting on environment impact as required by the laws. The charges of 5 groups of projects depending on preliminary inspection and review of environment impact reports. The reviewing charges shall be at 50% of the preliminary charges.

Environment Protection Division under Department of Natural Resources and Environment is required to collect environment impact report charges and is responsible of announcing the collection amounts and locations. Upon collection of such payments, the Division is required to issue receipts to payers with registration and declaration as required by current laws.
