Update: 16-03-2023 | 12:19:17

Early March 15, provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation coordinated with provincial People's Committee to organize a conference to collect opinions for the draft results of thematic supervision on “implementing policies and laws on energy development in the period of 2016-2021 in the province”. Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation chaired the conference, in attendance of representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, mass organizations, units and enterprises in the province.

In the 2016-2021 period, all promulgated documents adhered to the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, ensuring the legitimacy, synchronization, consistency, completeness, timeliness and high feasibility, in which the energy planning, annual and phased energy development plans were consistent with the local industrial development features, in line with the province’s objectives and strategies on socio-economic development. However, a number of legal documents had low stability and they were amended and supplemented many times. The approval of the national electricity development plan for the period of 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 is still slow, affecting opportunities as well as the order and procedures in investment work...

Addressing the conference, Mr. Danh said that in the new direction of green and clean energy development, new policies are needed, so ministries and sectors need to have coordination to solve and remove problems for businesses. Provincial People's Committee has directed relevant departments, agencies and localities to support investors in compensation and site clearance in order to soon put power projects into operation for the local socio-economic development.
