At the requiem for traffic accident victims.

Statistically, in Vietnam, over 40,000 road accidents occur each year, killing more than 10,000 people. In Binh Duong alone, in the first ten months of 2012, 281 traffic accidents were reported, causing 296 deaths and 184 injuries.

The provincial authorities at all levels have over years implemented many measures to curb traffic congestion and traffic accidents. However, owing to poor awareness, the number of traffic accidents remains existent.

Addressing the requiem, Huynh Van Nhi shared losses of relatives of traffic accident victims and urged to launch more drastic measures to push back traffic accidents, contributing to build Binh Duong into a civilized, safe and sustainable developing province.
