Responsibility and commitment

45 years ago, on December 1, 1976, Song Be provincial Party Committee issued a decision to establish Song Be Newspaper,  the organ of Song Be province’s Party, government and people, the predecessor of Binh Duong Newspaper today on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the event of "vindictive Phu Loi" (December 1, 1958). Although facing many difficulties in terms of personnel, printing, distribution..., with great efforts, 10 days after its establishment, on December 10, 1976, Song Be Newspaper published and distributed the first issue.

In the first time, despite facing many challenges, with solidarity, dynamism and creativity, Song Be Newspaper properly implemented its principles and purposes, and well performed its role as the organ of provincial Party Committee, the bridge between the Party and the people, disseminating information to cadres, Party members and people from all strata in and out of the province in an official, honest and timely manner.

Following the tradition of Song Be Newspaper, over the past time, Binh Duong Newspaper’s staff made rapid development. The newspaper’s Party Committee and Editorial Board paid attention to improving professional skills, political theory, ethics and lifestyle among staff. The newspaper focused on propagandizing the Party's policies, resolutions, achievements on the local socio-economic development, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, fighting against corruption, negativeness; refuting false and hostile claims, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, widely and deeply propagandizing typical examples through emulation movements, campaigns...Especially, the newspaper’s reporters regularly followed grassroots, especially in remote areas to promptly reflect thoughts, aspirations, pressing issues in public opinion and important political tasks of the province and localities. In particular, during the last Covid-19 outbreak period, the unit’s cadres and reporters made efforts to overcome difficulties and propagandize effectively. They were one of the local frontline forces in the fight against the pandemic, thereby showing their sense of responsibility and commitment.

Currently, Binh Duong Newspaper is implementing and step by step perfecting a model of multimedia editorial office - the inevitable development trend of modern journalism in the 4^th industrial revolution. The newspaper has constantly improved its contents and forms in propaganda work; step by step invested in material facilities; strongly exploited and applied information technology, contributing to improving the quality of propaganda work. Upholding the glorious tradition of revolutionary journalism, Binh Duong Newspaper’s staff today constantly improve their political stance, social responsibility, citizen duty and professional ethics. Especially, journalists need to keep themselves with "Bright mind, clear heart, sharp pen", always engage in professional activities, deserving to be soldiers on the ideological and cultural fronts.
