Binh Duong's economy develops strongly, especially in industry, urban areas, and services, the consequence is a high risk of environmental pollution. Along with that, Binh Duong aims to build a smart city, develop a green economy, a circular economy, and a digital economy. It is noteworthy that in the development process, Binh Duong attaches great importance to environmental protection, is very responsible in building a green, clean and safe living environment for the community.

Without exchanging the environment for the economy, not developing at all costs, in recent years, Binh Duong has shifted to attracting investment, developing economic fields in the direction of priority, selecting high-tech projects, less labor and land intensive, low risk of environmental pollution. In all industrial zones, as well as secondary projects, before operation, a standard wastewater collection and treatment system must be ensured. That process, which is strictly followed by investors, is accompanied by the close supervision and inspection of relevant departments and units.

Investment resources for projects to improve the water environment in particular and for environmental protection in general are very large. In addition to the efforts of the province, Binh Duong desperately needs capital support from the central budget, loans and grants from international financial institutions, including the World Bank. In fact, for many years, Binh Duong has received very effective development loan support from reputable international financial institutions. From the support capital, Binh Duong has been successfully implementing many projects related to environmental protection, from improving the water environment to waste and wastewater treatment projects...

Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation is one of the beneficiaries of the support loan and has effectively managed and used it in many projects. Projects to improve the water environment, projects to provide clean water, to invest in power plants from garbage, to produce fertilizers from waste, etc. are typical examples of green development, and are very responsible in protecting the environment of this unit.

The goal of investment attraction, green development and circular economy that Binh Duong is aiming for is an indispensable requirement in socio-economic development in the new period. That is also the plus point of Binh Duong in the eyes of international investors and sponsors. Protecting and building an increasingly green, clean and safe environment is the responsibility on the development path of the province, units, businesses and the whole community.
