They have dedicated their whole life to educational sector, schools and students. Old age, weak health, the teachers had to say goodbye to colleagues and students. Elite teacher Vo Thi Dong, 85, in Ben Cat district, has over 50 years of experience on teaching. She started educational career right from the early days of the anti-illiterate movement. She revealed "I was one of the first person joining in the anti-illiterate movement in Song Be province of yore. After many years of attaching to the educational career, my memories about the job remain overwhelmed. I always remember images of students who always respect teachers as their parents". Elite teacher Tran Thi Chau Anh, 84, in An Dien commune, Ben Cat district with over 50 years of experience, said "all jobs are started from learning, culture is a key to open intellectual window, so teacher plays a crucial role for every one. In the past, salary for teachers was very low, my colleagues were anxious about this but I advised them to keep teaching". Teacher Vo Kim Lan, vice chairman of Thuan An town society for retired teachers, said "As a teacher, it requires morality and enthusiasm. Because teachers must teach students and they must be examples for others. Though we are retired, we remain enriched love of career. I think teaching job is one of noble careers". Worries of teaching careerTeacher Vo Van Minh Tam, member of Thuan An town society for retired teachers, shared "In the recent time, morality of some teachers has been degraded seriously. This makes me worry. As a retired teacher, manager, I always think that educational career must be started from teachers".Nguyen Van Phe, former headmaster of Di An high school affirmed that teacher should create aspiration of learning for students and help them use basic knowledge to promote ability in service for the country. Generation of retired teachers always monitors steps of educational sector and hopes that educational career would be improved overall.
