Diverse methods of propaganda
On November 9, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in coordination with the Department of Justice, organized the "11th Law Learning Contest for the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector in 2023". Ho Truc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that the contest was a wide-ranging legal activity for officials, civil servants, officers, and workers under the department.
The contest received positive responses from hundreds of contestants from 20 units and organizations under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, showing that teams and individuals have actively studied documents and learned about the regulations of the law in the Agriculture and Rural Development sector. According to the Organizing Committee, the contest had 360 participants. The content of the competition revolved around legal knowledge in the Agriculture and Rural Development sector. The competition took place online and in-person at the final round. Ho Truc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that for the past 11 years, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has continuously organized similar contests, having contributed to improving legal knowledge for officials and workers of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
According to our observations, last weekend, the Women's Union in localities also organized many activities to propagate the laws. Specifically, Bau Bang district implemented the dissemination, popularization, and education of the law among Women's Union members and the people through the ‘ringing of the golden bell’ and handling situations. The contest was very lively before the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, and 5 encouragement prizes for the golden bell ringing and handling situation sections, awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize for the whole teams. The contest contributed to improving legal knowledge for Women's Union members, contributing to limiting violations of the law and maintaining the local security-political situation and social order and safety.
Continuing to spread activities
According to Nguyen Anh Hoa, Director of the Department of Justice, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial Popularization and Education Council on Law, in November, many units and departments in the province organized activities to respond to Vietnamese Law Day with focus on organizing law learning contests and legal discussion programs.
Accordingly, the Department of Justice - the Permanent Agency of the provincial Popularization and Education Council on Law, organized the Excellent Mediator Contest, an online law learning contest, implemented communication and propaganda activities about Law Day, implemented visual propaganda on the streets. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organized the "Law Learning Contest in the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector" for the 11th time in 2023. The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs organized the "Law Learning and Popularization Contest in the Social Field" in Binh Duong province in 2023 and the "Understanding the Gender Equality Law, Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence" contest in 2023.
The provincial Women's Union organized the launch of activities in response to Vietnamese Law Day and the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence based on gender, organized seminars and talks on the response to Law Day. The provincial Youth Union organized a stage contest to learn about knowledge and laws on drug prevention and control with the theme ò "Binh Duong Youth Say No to Drugs" in 2023.
In parallel, localities also focused on disseminating the purpose and significance of Law Day, strengthened visual propaganda as well as organized practical activities to respond through contests.
