Rohto-Mentholatum Vietnam Co.Ltd. gives scholarships, eye care to the community

The company will further donate other scholarships to 10 poor-but-students at HCM city University of Medicine and Pharmacy on October 16 ahead. Thus, 20 poor students with good academic results have been awarded scholarships worth VND100mln from the company on the occasion of the 2014 and 2015 new academic year.

This activity is held annually by Rohto-Mentholatum Vietnam Co.Ltd. with the goal of helping students overcome difficulties and further pursue their learning, thereby contributing to building up a talent generation of Vietnam in the future.

In response to the World Sight Day, October 10, the company will join hands with relevant agencies to implement a program named “Eye care for a better world” for 25,000 people in five provinces and cities nationwide: Dong Thap, Binh Thuan, Ha Nam, Phu Tho and Binh Dinh; continue funding cataract surgeries for 50 patients with extremely difficult circumstances.

Hirofumi Shiramatsu, Deputy General Director of Rohto Mentholatum Vietnam Co.Ltd. said that along with scholarships-awarding and eye care activities, the company has maintained many programs on cataract treatment, given financial support for cultural-sports events…towards a healthy and beautiful Vietnam during the past 18 years.
