Update: 08-07-2024 | 12:05:14

On July 6, Thu Dau Mot city’s Division of Economics, in coordination with Dinh Hoa ward, launched a work on "Rosewood tree" garden. This work is part of the campaign to green Thu Dau Mot city, aiming at building a green and friendly Thu Dau Mot city for the 2024-2030 period and the next years.

Accordingly, the city’s Division of Economics and Dinh Hoa ward planted 200 rosewood trees in the public areas of quarter 6. These trees were donated by locals, namely Nguyen Hong Loan and Do Anh Long from Chanh My ward’s quarter 2.

It is known that the city's Division of Economics has directly advised the city's People's Committee on implementing the campaign to green Thu Dau Mot city towards a green and friendly city for the 2024-2030 period and in the next years. Over the past time, the devision advised and coordinated with the city’s units, divisions, mass organizations and wards to plant and tend trees, mobilize organizations and individuals to support a task of planting trees and focus on seedling nurseries to ensure a supply of trees, thereby contributing to effectively implementing provincial Urban Green Tree Project and national plan to plant 1 billion trees from 2021 to 2025, initiated by the Prime Minister.
