Rubber tree area decreases, area of fruit trees increases by more than 7% in Dau Tieng District

 After the first 3 months of 2020, the area of rubber trees in the district now is 49,800 ha, down 0.4% over the same period, of which the area of small rubber plantations is 22,750 ha. Meanwhile, many households have tended to shift plant varieties, especially fruit trees, to 650 hectares, up 7.6% over the same period.

According to the development plan of agriculture, forestry and fishery until 2025, with a vision towards 2030, the district is focusing on the implementation of projects under the plan for specialized fruit tree growing areas development in combination with eco-tourism in Thanh Tuyen commune, gradually branding fruit trees, especially Thanh Tuyen mangosteen.
