“Sacombank-Nurturing Dreams” scholarships donated to poor-but-excellent pupils, students

On the opening occasion of the 2013-2014 new academic year, Sacombank’s Binh Duong Branch has just awarded 75 “Sacombank-Nurturing Dreams” scholarships to poor pupils and students with excellent study results at Thu Dau Mot University and high schools of Trinh Hoai Duc in Thuan An town, Dau Tieng in Dau Tieng district, Le Loi and Tan Phuoc Khanh in Tan Uyen district. 

The annual “Sacombank-Nurturing Dreams” program aims to help poor-but-excellent pupils and students rise up and further pursue their learning. Since 2004, Sacombank has spent nearly VND20bln on the program with more than 19,000 pupils and students nationwide awarded scholarships. In 2013 alone, Sacombank has awarded 2,746 scholarships worth more than VND3bln for poor-but-excellent pupils and students throughout the country, 2.526 of which are for pupils, 220 for students and 20 for first laureates of universities. Each scholarship is worth VND1mln for pupils and VND3mln for students.
