On June 2, 7,903 high school examinees started the first test day of the high school final exam for 2012-2013 school year. In the morning, examinees took Vietnamese literature and they took chemistry subject in the afternoon. The first test day took place safely and seriously and there were no violation of the exam regulations.   The provincial department of Education and Training director Duong The Phuong encourages examinees at Ben Cat high school exam council in the first exam day.

The exam council No.04.09 in Nguyen Trai high school in Thuan An town has 389 examinees from 5 high schools such as Nguyen Trai, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hoang Dieu and Duc Tri. Nguyen Phong Vu, vice chairman of material facilities at the exam council, said “Proctors are ready for the final exam. On June 1, proctors at the exam council completed final works prior to the exam day. The high school’s material facilities are well prepared for the exam”.

Duong Thai Vinh, the 12th grader of Nguyen Trai high school, said “Thanks to encouragement and good review, I feel confident in this important exam”.

At the exam council 09.16 in Ben Cat high school, as many as 662 examinees of 2 high schools including Ben Cat and Lai Uyen joined in this final exam under supervision of 90 proctors from high schools of Phan Boi Chau in Dau Tieng district, Vo Minh Duc, Hung Vuong in Thu Dau Mot city. Before starting the first exam subject, Nguyen Thi Tuyet, chairwoman of the exam council reminded contestants that this was an important milestone for completing high school program, so examinees should excel exam subjects to bring joy for parents.

A safe and serious exam is a top goal set out by the provincial education sector in every high school final exam. This year’s final exam, the local education sector enjoys assistance from sectors of public security, traffic transport, telecommunication, post office, healthcare, etc, so the exam took place safely and seriously.  

In this year, the entire province has 7,903 examinees. High schools and continuous educational centers are divided into 10 groups to hold this final exam. The province has 17 exam councils with 332 exam rooms for high schools’ examinees and 58 rooms for continuous high schools’ contestants.

To hold a safe exam, schools offer vehicles to pick up contestants as well as arrange rest locations for them and send teachers to encourage examinees’ spirit, helping them increase confidence prior to the important exam.

The provincial department of Education and Training also sends 1,003 cadres and teachers to join in the exam supervision. In addition, the department sets up inspection delegations to pay inspection visits to the exam councils.

Ending the first exam day, there was no violation of the exam regulations. Today, examinees continue taking 2 exam subjects of geology and biology.

Attending the opening ceremony of high school final exam of 2012-2013 academic year at Nguyen Trai high school in Thuan An town, Huynh Van Nhi, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee stressed that “To obtain excellent results, examinees should be calm down and confident and read thoroughly questions before completing them as well as complete simple questions first. Contestants should make greater efforts to reach high achievements in this exam to bring joy for teachers and parents. The provincial People’s Committee also highly values preparation work of material facilities and logistic conditions for this exam. To win safety and seriousness in this exam, I hope that proctors should excel exam regulations”.

At the exam council 09.16 in Ben Cat high school, everyone is moved by image of 3 disabled examinees from Sunflower center for orphans and disabled children. Nguyen Vu Huyen Tram can not speak and move, owing to disability but she is a good pupil of Ben Cat high school. Luu Kim Phung enjoys Tran Huu Toan’s help to pursue her study for many years. Toan revealed that Phung has suffered a big loss, so I am not afraid to carry her on my back to go to school. Vo Thi Hang has to move in difficult condition after a traffic accident. However, she tries her best to go to school every day.
