Sanctions to administered on employees not receiving enough COVID-19 vaccines

Update: 19-04-2022 | 11:16:17

In the morning of April 18, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired an online meeting with localities on the situation of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province.

According to the Department of Health, on April 17, the province received 8,865 doses of COVID-19 vaccine for children under 12 years old who are 6th graders. However, the number of injections entered on the vaccination system is just 4,414, which is 50.3% of the total number of actual injections. The reason is that some localities do not have the child's identification codes, and have not yet implemented the digital data input plan on the national vaccination management platform by phone numbers.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha speaks at the meeting

During the week, the number of new cases of COVID-19 decreased, the number of recovered patients and completed treatment increased. Statistics showed that the number of people receiving the 2nd and 3rd doses of vaccinations among workers is still low, which poses a high risk of infection.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha said that the number of COVID-19 infection in the province decreased sharply as all 91 communes, wards and towns returned to new normal. In particular, during the week, localities in the province simultaneously organized a campaign to vaccinate against COVID-19 for children under 12 years old.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha requested the health sector and localities to continue implementing vaccination for children under 12 years old and pay attention to the injection and post-vaccination process while coordinating with schools and families to closely monitor children after vaccination to handle promptly if any situation occurs. Data entry on the vaccination portal needs to accelerating further to overcome errors and delays.

He assigned the health sector to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with related sectors to develop plan to vaccinate workers in the last vaccination plan (in case of special flexibility), and if the employee does not inject, there will be sanctions such as not allowing to work in the factories, handling in terms of administrative violations. On August 30, enterprises must pay their own expenses when injecting COVID-19 vaccines for workers.
