Scholarship awarded to students in harsh circumstances

In the morning of September 27, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial Youth Union organized to award scholarships of helping schooling for disadvantaged students in Tan Uyen town. During the program, the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth’s League gave 60 scholarships to disadvantaged students in Thanh Hoi commune and Thai Hoa ward to encourage them in the new school year.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth’s League awarded 80 scholarships to disadvantaged students in 9 districts, towns and cities; each scholarship included VND 2 million in cash and 20 notebooks. In addition, the provincial Standing Committee also awarded 79 scholarships to high school students and disadvantaged students in the province; each included VND 1 million and 1 carton of Milo milk; thereby, contributing to support and motivate students to try to study better.
