Scholarships awarded to children orphaned due to Covid-19

Early January 25, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in collaboration with the Hope Foundation of VnExpress electronic newspaper and FPT Joint Stock Company organized the program "Tet of Hope - Overcoming the pandemic together with children” with scholarships awarded to children orphaned due to Covid-19 pandemic in Thuan An city.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Accordingly, provincial Youth Union awarded scholarships and gifts from the program to 71 children whose parents died due to the pandemic in Thuan An city. Each of them was given VND1million in cash together with gifts.

Previously, the organizing board of the program donated 46 gift packages to the local children orphaned due to Covid-19 pandemic.
