Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

The Women’s Union of Hiep Thanh ward in TDM city has just awarded 40 scholarships worth VND20mln to poor-but-excellent pupils (photo), aiming to encourage them to overcome difficulties and rise up in study and life.

Over the past time, the ward’s Women’s Union implemented a variety of activities supporting the local women to develop home based business, building up well-off and happy families, thereby helping them be confident to rise up in life. When getting good living conditions, they offered help to those who have difficult circumstances.
