Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Early September 5, Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with Honda 67 Club awarded 20 scholarships worth VND400,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils at An Binh A and An Binh B primary schools on the occasion of the new academic year.

It is known that all the recipients are the offspring of need ethnic minority people with good academic results over the past years. This scholarship program will partially help them surmount difficulties and further pursue their learning, contributing to narrowing the gap of knowledge, culture between ethnic groups, between remote and urban areas.

*On the occasion of the new academic year, Vietcombank’s Binh Duong branch, on September 5, also awarded scholarships worth VND1million to 20 poor-but-excellent pupils in North Tan Uyen district’s Lac Ac commune.

This is also the first time representative of the branch presented scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils in the commune, helping them rise up in life and study to be worthy of the traditional fondness for learning of the homeland.
