Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee has just held a ceremony awarding “Lighting dreams of Phu Giao’s youths” scholarships for poor-but-excellent pupils in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Accordingly, 13 poor-but-excellent pupils from secondary schools in the district were awarded scholarships worth VND5million-VND10million each. It is known that the program has a total value of VND 90million, including VND60million from Le Van Dung in HCM city and VND30million from Binh Duong Agriculture-Forestry Joint Stock Company.

These scholarships will contribute to encouraging the local pupils to surmount difficulties and further pursue their learning with higher result.
