Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

On Sept.21, provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 94 scholarships worth VND100mln to poor-but-excellent pupils across the province.

Each scholarship is worth VND800,000 for primary school pupils; VND1mln for junior high school pupils; VND1.2mln for high school pupils and those at continuing educational centers; VND1.5mln for junior college and college students and VND2mln for university students.

It is known that all the above scholarships were sponsored by Binh Duong Post and Telecommunication Co., Lawrence S.Ting Scholarship Fund and Binh Duong Construction and Minerals Joint Stock Co. Nguyen Xuan Vinh, Chairman of provincial Study Promotion hoped that recipients will make efforts in study to repay the above companies’ attention to them.
