Update: 02-12-2013 | 00:00:00

Early December 1, Di An town’s Fatherland Front Committee and donors co-held a ceremony to award scholarships to 70 poor pupils at all levels with good academic results.

At the ceremony, the organizers presented 36 learning corners, including tables, chairs and bookshelves; 14 scholarships to second and high school pupils in the last academic year together with 20 gifts, comprising of schoolbags, notebooks and cash. The total cost of the program was estimated at more than VND100mln, mobilized by the town’s Fatherland Front Committee.

Although having a small value, the above gifts contributed to encouraging the local poor-but-excellent pupils further rise up and pursue their learning in the new academic year.
