Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent students

Under the program of "Making wings to the future" to give “Huynh Van Mot” scholarships and scholarships on vocational training from Ho Chi Minh city School Sports Talent and Education Support Fund, provincial Women's Union will coordinate with relevant units to award scholarships to poor-but-excellent students.

Particularly, 20 scholarships worth VND1.5million each were given for needy students and orphans with good academic results for many consecutive years. The program also awarded 10 scholarships worth VND2million to poor students at Thu Dau Mot University; offered 15 scholarships on vocational training and 5 college scholarships in 4 majors of food technology, information technology, accounting, business administration; donated 90% of tuition fees at Ho Chi Minh city College of Science and Technology to 5 students who graduated from high school. In addition, the program offered 10 intermediate scholarships of 3 majors on traditional medicine, pharmacist, nursing; gave 100% of tuition fees at Au Viet Junior College. After graduating from nursing at intermediate level, students will be given scholarships to study Japanese, registered to practice nursing skills in Japan for 3-5 years while studying and working.
