On February 22, provincial Department of Education and Training announced and implemented the local "School health for the 2021-2025 period” program”. The event was attended by Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

The goal of the school health program in the 2021-2025 period is to maintain and promote physical education activities, care for, protect and manage the health of children and students in preschool and general education institutions, aiming to ensure their comprehensive physical and mental development. Accordingly, the program includes 5 groups of contents and 7 groups of solutions with the participation of 9 relevant departments, agencies, the People's Committees of 9 districts, towns, cities, educational institutions in the province, the response of students, teachers and the consensus of parents and socialization forces to support the implementation of basic solutions.

Over the past years, health care, physical education and sports activities in schools were organized and implemented under the plan with quality increasingly improved. In schools, learning conditions, health care work; disease prevention and control for children and students were ensured.
