Second dose of Covid-19 vaccine given to teens aged 15 to 17

From November 21 to 23, localities in the province simultaneously gave the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine to teens aged 15 to 17 years old; on November 24, teens, who had not been vaccinated, and ones, who have underlying diseases, will be vaccinated.

Accordingly, the total number of teens receiving the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine is 47,773 studying at high schools, continuing education centers and 12 vocational schools in the province, including 42,330 students of grades 10, 11 and 12. In addition, this time the province also gave the first dose simultaneously to junior high school 52,813 students of grade 7 and 8 in 9 districts, towns and cities. The health authority estimated the total number of Pfizer vaccine doses given this time to be 108,810.
