Seminar held to celebrate 48 years of Dau Tieng Liberation Day

On March 13, Dau Tieng District held a seminar to commemorate the 48th anniversary of Dau Tieng Liberation Day (March 13, 1975 - March 13, 2020).

At the seminar, participants together reviewed the revolutionary struggle history of the heroic Dau Tieng army and people, in which the most brilliant milestone was the glorious victory taking the government back to the people by the liberation of Dau Tieng on March 13, 1975, contributed to bringing the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign to a complete victory, liberating the South and reunifying the country.

The seminar also held a talk with revolutionary veterans, who participated in commanding and directly fighting on the Dau Tieng battlefield, to help recall the times of fierce fighting the enemy, strengthening the young generation’s confidence and pride in the sacrifices of their predecessors. Upholding the heroic tradition, after 48 years of construction and development, Dau Tieng has reached a dynamic development speed; The district's socio-economic development has always been stable, people's lives have been continuously improved, and Dau Tieng's homeland has become more prosperous, beautiful and civilized.

Earlier, in the morning of the same day, district leaders and Dau Tieng Rubber One Member Company paid a visit to the District Martyrs Cemetery, offered incense and flowers in memory of heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
